Jhelum: Deputy Commissioner Rao Pervaiz Akhtar took action of the recent rising prices of poultry and set up a committee to control the prices. A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Pervaiz Akhtar to review the prices of poultry. In which Additional Director Livestock and Poultry Association officials also participated.

The meeting discussed in detail the recent rise in prices, and a committee was formed under the supervision of the Additional Director Livestock to scrutinize all the expenses and profits of the purchase price of chickens from poultry farm to the consumer and set a code of conduct in which genuine profits and expenditures will charge so that chickens are available to the people at controlled rates. The Deputy Commissioner said that exploitation of the people is not acceptable at all, illegal profiteers will be deal with strictness.
