سونف کی کاشت نومبر کے دوران مکمل کر لی جائے

FAISALABAD: The agriculture experts advised the growers to start the cultivation of fennel (Saunf) immediately and complete during November at every cost as late sowing of fennel can hamper its produce to a maximum extent

A spokesman of the Agriculture (Extension) Department told that fennel helped in relief from anemia, indigestion, flatulence, constipation, diarrhea, respiratory disorders, and remedies against eye and heart diseases too.

He said the farmers should cultivate approved varieties of fennel as standard seed plays a vital role in enhancing production. The fennel can also be sown in fodder crops.

فیصل آباد: ماہرین زراعت نے کاشتکاروں کو مشورہ دیا ہے کہ سونف کی کاشت فوری طور پر شروع کر دیں اور ہر قیمت پر نومبر میں مکمل کریں کیونکہ سونف کی دیر سے بوائی اس کی پیداوار کو زیادہ سے زیادہ نقصان پہنچا سکتی ہے۔

محکمہ زراعت (توسیع) کے ترجمان نے بتایا کہ سونف خون کی کمی، بدہضمی، پیٹ پھولنا، قبض، اسہال، سانس کے امراض اور آنکھوں اور دل کی بیماریوں سے بھی نجات میں معاون ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ کاشتکار سونف کی منظور شدہ اقسام کاشت کریں کیونکہ معیاری بیج پیداوار بڑھانے میں اہم کردار ادا کرتا ہے۔ سونف کو چارے کی فصلوں میں بھی بویا جا سکتا ہے۔
