At SAWiE, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by SAWiE and how we use it. This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for users to our website and mobile application with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in SAWiE. Log Files
SAWiE follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

The SAWIE has appointed a GDPR Manager which has responsibility for ensuring the company’s compliance with data protection regulation. All Group employees are required to complete regular training on the principles of GDPR. A range of policies and a full communications plan has been put in place to ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities.

Privacy Policy
SAWIE Ltd has developed the SAWIE app which is available on Android and Apple for free. Currently the unbiased farm advisory services in the shape of knowledge centre, daily alters are available in Pakistan which are provided by its partner SAWIE Ecosystems which are available to famers without any costs. The SAWIE webpages and social media pages (Facebook, linked in, twitter, etc) are here to give information to the farmers and agriculture stakeholders, there is no compulsion to farmers & stakeholders to act upon SAWIE advisory. This is completely voluntary and would like all visitors to make their own judgement. SAWIE Ltd and its partner SAWIE Ecosystems does not take any responsibility to property, crops, or a human life.
The media pages are here to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service. SAWIE is supporting farmers with a localised information, to receive precise information , while using our App and other Service, SAWIE may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Phone Number, Name, location of the crop and its name, sowing date, irrigation, fertilizer and expected yield. The information that SAWIE request will be retained only for internal use and used as described in this privacy policy. The SAWIE app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you. Please refer to the privacy policy of third party service providers eg Google as required by the app Google Play.
