Farmers should complete gram cultivation as soon as possible, Agriculture Department

ملتان: محکمہ زراعت نے چنے کی فی ایکڑبہتر پیداوار کے لئے سفارشات جاری کر دیں ترجمان محکمہ زراعت کے مطابق کاشتکار چنے کی کاشت جلد از جلد مکمل کر لیں۔ چنے کے ساتھ تیل دار اجناس کی کاشت بھی کی جا سکتی ہے۔

ترجمان محکمہ زراعت  نے مزید کہا کہ چنے کی فصل کو پانی کی ضرورت کم ہوتی ہے تاہم آبپاش علاقوں میں بارش نہ ہونے کی صورت میں خصوصاً پھول آنے پر اگر فصل میں سوکھا محسوس ہو تو ہلکاپانی لگا دیں۔کابلی چنے کے لئے پہلا پانی بوائی کے 60 تا70 دن بعد اور دوسرا پھول آنے پر دیں۔

چنے کی فصل میں اگر جڑی بوٹیاں کم ہوں تو جڑی بوٹی مار زہروں کی بجائے گوڈی کو ترجیح دیں۔پہلی گوڈی فصل اُگنے کے30 تا40 دن کے بعد اور دوسری گوڈی پہلی گوڈی کے ایک ماہ بعد کریں۔

Multan: Department of Agriculture has issued recommendations for better production of gram per acre. Oilseeds can also be grown along with grams.

The spokesman of the agriculture department further said that the gram crop needs less water but in lack of rain in irrigated areas, especially at flowering stage, if the crop feels dry, then apply light irrigation. Apply first irrigation after 60 to 70 days of sowing and the second irrigation at flowering stage.

If there are fewer weeds in gram crops, prefer hoeing instead of weedicides. Do the first hoeing 30 to 40 days after germination and the second one month after the first hoeing.
