باغبانوں کو آم کے پودوں کو کورےسے بچانے کا مشورہ

FAISALABAD: Agriculture experts advised growers to take immediate steps to protect mango orchards from frost damage

A spokesman of the agriculture extension department said that the farmers should remain alert and irrigate the mango orchards repeatedly as severe cold and drought can aggravate the situation for mango plants. He highlighted that if the temperature reached below 4 degrees, then the nursery plants were greatly damaged. However, the large plants could resist to some extent.

He added, the gardeners could contact agronomists or field staff of the agriculture department for guidance in this regard.

فیصل آباد: ماہرین زراعت نے کاشتکاروں کو آم کے باغات کو ٹھنڈ سے ہونے والے نقصان سے بچانے کے لیے فوری اقدامات کرنے کا مشورہ دیا ہے۔

محکمہ زراعت توسیع کے ترجمان نے کہا کہ کاشتکار متوجہ رہیں اور آم کے باغات کو بار بار پانی دیں کیونکہ شدید سردی اور خشک سالی آم کے پودوں کی صورتحال کو مزید خراب کر سکتی ہے۔انہوں نے روشنی ڈالی کہ اگر درجہ حرارت 4 ڈگری سے نیچے پہنچ جائے تو نرسری کے پودوں کو بہت نقصان پہنچتا ہے۔ تاہم، بڑے پودے کسی حد تک مزاحمت رکھتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ باغبان اس سلسلے میں رہنمائی کے لیے ماہرین زراعت یا محکمہ زراعت کے فیلڈ سٹاف سے رابطہ کر سکتے ہیں۔
