The SAWiE team, along with Mr. Fritz Böhmler, CEO of SAWiE, recently visited TTI Testing Laboratories for an in-depth discussion on advancing transparent and compliant textile supply chains.
During the visit, the SAWiE team engaged in productive conversations with Mr. Hamed K. Lateef (CEO, TTI Testing Laboratories), Mr. Adnan Malik (General Manager), and Dr. Jaweria Shakeel (Head of Sustainability). The discussions focused on developing end-to-end textile traceability solutions that enable full farm-to-fashion visibility, including farmer-level and Tier-4 upstream data, to support global textile brands in meeting Scope 3 compliance requirements.
A key area of collaboration explored was the joint development of integrated solutions that combine verified textile testing, traceability data, and Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) systems. These integrated approaches aim to strengthen regulatory compliance, enhance data credibility, and improve transparency across textile value chains.
The meeting also highlighted the growing importance of Digital Product Passports (DPPs) in the textile industry. Discussions covered how DPPs can enable carbon footprint measurement, material composition disclosure, and recyclability tracking, helping brands comply with evolving international regulations and sustainability standards.
SAWiE looks forward to collaborating with TTI Testing Laboratories on practical, scalable, and impact-driven solutions that support a more transparent, compliant, and sustainable textile ecosystem.
