SAWIE, a leading digital and climate-smart regenerative agriculture company in Pakistan, is committed to empowering smallholder farmers with innovative tools, expert advice, and the latest agricultural practices. As part of our ongoing efforts to support sustainable agriculture, we are excited to announce the “Sustainable Cotton Pakistan Conference,” an online event to be held on World Cotton Day, 7th October 2024.
This conference aims to strengthen Pakistan’s cotton policy by bringing together key stakeholders from government and private sectors, including the Ministry of National Food Security Pakistan, WWF, Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), CABI, Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA), Pakistan Central Cotton Committee (PCCC), Central Cotton Research Institute (CCRI) Multan, Organic Cotton Accelerator (OCA), Syngenta, and other leading organizations.
The conference will provide a platform for discussions on critical issues facing the cotton industry, including sustainable farming practices, climate resilience, and the integration of technology in cotton production. Our goal is to foster collaboration among experts, policymakers, and farmers to ensure the long-term viability and success of Pakistan’s cotton industry.
In addition to expert insights, participants will have the opportunity to engage with SAWIE’s innovative offerings, such as our advisory services, input provisions (including seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides), weather advisory alerts, and access to our Knowledge Center. Our SAWIE Baithak programs will also be highlighted, showcasing how we educate and support smallholder farmers across Pakistan.
We invite all farmers, students, and agriculture enthusiasts to join us in this important event. Your participation will not only enhance your understanding of sustainable cotton practices but also contribute to shaping the future of cotton farming in Pakistan.
